Brand development for Avenue 13, a local coffee shop. I wanted the logo to have a vintage feel to bring warmth to the brand. It doesn't scream "coffee," because the brand is more than just the coffee they sell. The warm brown and cream are complimented by the baby blue, creating a versatile palette that brings those warm, welcoming feelings that the brand wants to communicate. Maintaining circular shapes throughout branded material creates a cohesive, friendly appearance. The bold serif typeface adds to the vintage feel while remaining legible at smaller sizes, making the brand more accessible to a wider audience.
