The objective was to create a label design for three hot sauce flavours with the added challenge to stay away from imagery typically associated with hot sauce such as the grim reaper and fire. Moving completely away from traditional hot sauce imagery, I opted for more of a techno, almost cyberpunk style. Taking inspiration from circuit boards and other computer parts, I designed the label to be reminiscent of the blue Intel core processors with intricate circuitry surrounding the focal point of the label. I chose to adjust the angle of the V and A characters to add some extra edge to the headlines. The circuitry on each label has a subtle gradient to give the effect of a glow coming from the core, and the colour of each label corresponds with the spice level of each sauce. Additionally, each label features a spice level designed with inspiration from audio levels in sound equipment
