Logo and label design for Velvet Chateaux, a wine brand. The objective of this project was to design labels for three wine flavours that would convey the quality of the product and stand out on the shelf. Art deco is often associated with luxury and elegance, and was the inspiration for the design. The colours are subdued, yet still bold and call attention to the product. The bold pattern framing the text content is reminiscent of intricate art deco motifs, and the dramatic typeface was chosen for its high cross bars that also ties into the vintage style.
